Dev-Kund means "reservoir of God", and it is true to its name. It is the best place to visit in the monsoon. It is a confluence of three waterfalls and is said to be the origin of the Kundalika river.
It is one of the most beautiful treks and has lots to explore: an awesome view of the Kundalika Valley, Bhira dam, the mountain ranges of Tamhini Ghat, lush evergreen forest, stream crossings, a hanging bridge, crystal-clear water, natural potholes and much more.

Pune – Bhira – Devkund Waterfall – Pune
- Reach Bhira base village
- Freshen up
- Start the trek towards Devkund waterfall
- Reach the waterfall and enjoy some time there
- Start the return trek towards the base village
- Reach the base village and have lunch
- Start the return journey towards Pune (a 1–2 hr delay is possible depending on trekkers' pace and road traffic)

What Easy–Moderate means
Some steep, rocky or slippery patches, and stream crossings in the monsoon.
How to prepare: Two weeks of 45-minute walks or easy jogs, plus a few sets of squats.

Where is the pickup for Devkund Waterfall?
Pickup points and times: McDonald's, JM Road, Deccan Gymkhana (5:00 am); Xion Mall, Hinjewadi (5:30 am). Please be there 10 minutes early.
Is Devkund Waterfall good for beginners?
Yes. It's graded Easy–Moderate on our five-step scale, which suits first-timers who can walk steadily for a few hours.
Are meals included?
Included: All meals during the trip.
Are there washrooms?
Not on the trails. We stop at the base village to freshen up before the climb and again after. Please don't expect luxury: these are treks, and our brochures say so too.
How much luggage can I bring?
One backpack (no sling bags) with the items on the trek's packing list. Wear your trek clothes and keep a spare set for the ride back.
What happens if the weather turns?
Plans can change with the weather. On the trail the trek leader's decision is final, and Travel Firse may reschedule or cancel a trek for safety. In the monsoon expect rain, slippery rock and leeches, and pack a poncho, not an umbrella.
