Itinerary
Pune – Korigad Fort – Savalya Ghat – Pune
- Begin the journey towards Korigad while enjoying the scenic morning drive.
- Reach Korigad base village, freshen up and have breakfast.
- Start the Korigad Fort trek and explore the fort, viewpoints and scenic landscapes.
- Return to the base village and depart for lunch.
- Enjoy a local lunch.
- Begin the Savalya Ghat trek through lush greenery and waterfalls.
- Return to the parking area and board the bus.
- Arrive back in Pune. (A 1–2 hr delay is possible depending on the trekkers' speed and road traffic.)

How to reach
We travel together from Pune by private transport to Korigad base village, so you don't need to find the trailhead yourself. Pickup points and times:

What Moderate means
Sustained climbs, ladders or exposed rock, often with a night start.
How to prepare: Three weeks: jog 3–4 km three times a week and climb stairs with a light backpack.

Is Korigad Fort & Savalya Ghat Monsoon Trek good for beginners?
It's graded Moderate. Beginners with decent fitness can do it, but prepare for 2–3 weeks first (see Safety & grade).
Are meals included?
Included: All meals during the trek.
Are there washrooms?
Not on the trails. We stop at the base village to freshen up before the climb and again after. Please don't expect luxury: these are treks, and our brochures say so too.
How much luggage can I bring?
One backpack (no sling bags) with the items on the trek's packing list. Wear your trek clothes and keep a spare set for the ride back.
What happens if the weather turns?
Plans can change with the weather. On the trail the trek leader's decision is final, and Travel Firse may reschedule or cancel a trek for safety. In the monsoon expect rain, slippery rock and leeches, and pack a poncho, not an umbrella.
