The Bhimashankar to Bhorgiri Trek is a scenic and spiritually enriching journey through the Sahyadri mountain range. The trail descends through the dense forests of the Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the famous Shekru (Indian Giant Squirrel), Maharashtra's state animal, along with a rich variety of birds, butterflies and flora.
The trek follows an ancient jungle trade route, offering mesmerizing forest trails, multiple stream crossings, and a visit to the sacred Gupt Bhimashankar, hidden deep within the wilderness.

What happens if the weather turns?
Plans can change with the weather. On the trail the trek leader's decision is final, and Travel Firse may reschedule or cancel a trek for safety. In the monsoon expect rain, slippery rock and leeches, and pack a poncho, not an umbrella.
